At Juniper Village-The Spearly Center, we offer:
- Four neighborhoods within the community, each with its own dedicated team of professionals, including a Neighborhood Wellness Coordinator, Social Service Representative, Connections Associate, Restorative Nurse Aides, Housekeeper, Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.
- Professional teams trained in building therapeutic relationships with people who live with mental illness, brain injury, neurological disorders or medically complex medical diagnoses.
- A strong emphasis on rehabilitation with on-site physical, occupational, speech (including V-Stim), mental health and respiratory therapies.
- Therapies can also provide "A Bridge to Home" after an illness or surgery. Based on the physicians prescribed treatment plan, our therapists help individual's regain the confidence they need for recovery and independence.
- Rehabilitative services are followed by Restorative Nursing and Psychosocial Programs, offering enhancement/maintenance of physical and life skills.
- Our Connections program is modeled on our Alive in All Seasons monthly themes and provides activities with a focus on encouraging an active body, engaged mind and fulfilled spirit.
- Age-appropriate culturally diverse daily opportunities, include: volunteer work therapy, visiting the art studio, computer lab, spa, gym, pool hall, laundry mat, cooking classes, bank, outdoor patio, discussion or music groups, exercise class, etc.
- Wound care, IV, tube feeding, and hospice care.
- Healthy meal options, with ability to accommodate therapeutic diets and textures.
- Transportation to community events or outings in addition to appointments.
- On-site housekeeping, laundry, dietary and maintenance services.
- A safe and semi-secure neighborhood for those who benefit from this structure, including transitional phases to a less restrictive neighborhood or community placement (as appropriate).
- Short-term respite stays.
- Spiritual services.
- End of life care including the "Five Wishes Program," on-going vigils, comfort care baskets, and grief counseling.
- Admissions can be accomodated seven days per week, we work with local social services to facilitate a smooth transition.
Juniper Village-The Spearly Center is both Medicare and Medicaid certified. We also accept Veteran Administration contracts and have contracts with Kaiser Permanente and Evercare.
